A Cuvée made from 85% Welschriesling and 15% Chardonnay from a hill called Csaterberg, which is surrounded by the forest that once belonged to a family called Erdödy ({Är:dö:di}).
The way up to the Csaterberg is a wormhole. You arrive in a different time. Here the cosiness of southern Burgenland is compressed in one place. Everything is wonderful here.
The taste that this slope gives the grapes from its soil reveals pure emotions in us while drinking it. Infinite joy. It no longer matters how, what or when we did something with the grapes. Anyone who searches and asks anyway will find: passion fruit, apple, lime, pineapple, ginger, stinging nettle, green tea, grapefruit, meadow herbs, and so on...
All of this is combined with freshness, juiciness, fine acidty and a light astringency on the palate that makes you smack your lips.
