The Burgenland is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Austria. Wine-growing has been in operation here for more than 2500 years. The ferruginous, clayey soil and, extraordinary location and the partly pannonian and partly illyrian climate provides amazing wines like our incredible Groszer Wein Blaufränkisch Szapary 2014.
The typical grape variety Blaufränkisch from the Eisenberg region produces velvet and delicate dry wines with an ablosute top quality. Our 2014 Szapary tastes like blueberries and blackberries. The wine is full-bodied and is long and nicely firm on the palate. This is exactly what you would expect from such a fine wine.
An excellent wine that goes perfectly with grilled meats or a good roast.
